Overview
Rivian Automotive is an innovative American electric vehicle manufacturer and automotive technology and outdoor recreation company. Rivian produces an electric sport utility vehicle and pickup truck on a “skateboard” platform that can support future vehicles or be adopted by other companies. Rivian has focused from day one on customer experience and on being a great place to work. As part of that effort, Rivian asked Valocity to partner with them on determining the right feature set, technology and defining the overall experience.
Our Approach
Valocity took the Rivian team through a strategy process to determine the needs and priorities of for their Employee Portal. We interviewed dozens of people across the business. From there, we took them through our proven Platform Selection process to determine the optimal set of technologies and to define an architecture that would scale with the business. We brought all of this together with defining the user experience that would empower their users.
