Senior Project Manager
We are currently looking for an experienced project manager to ensure the successful delivery of digital experience platforms and solutions for our clients. They will serve as a liaison between highly motivated, multidisciplinary teams and our clients to build solutions. This individual will have a clear understanding of and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including vision and scope definition, creative and user experience design, requirements specification and prioritization, iterative development, manual and automated testing, handoff and delivery. The best candidate will be driven by the success and satisfaction of clients and teammates alike.
Responsibilities
- Working at multiple levels and disciplines with the Valocity team (as well as with a variety of key customers and partners), this strategic role manages all aspects of project planning – from project scope/definition, project planning, timeline measurement, and resource allocation
- This role collaborates closely with the Valocity team in the management of the hands-on technical/solution implementation process
- A critical component to this role is the ability to multi-task, maintain proactive and efficient communication, and escalate critical issues as well as provide answers to Valocity clients
- Work with clients(s) as well as Valocity counterparts to clearly define and document project scope, requirements, and integration points as they relate to solution implementation
- Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and prepare change requests – including tasks, deliverables, milestones, and resources
- Oversee an agile project team
- Work with Business Analyst and Tech Lead to document all requirements and setup backlog in Jira
- Act as primary point of contact for the client(s) throughout the project life-cycle
- Achieve client satisfaction through successful delivery of defined project scope
- Manage administrative portions of project delivery from inception to closure
- Collaborate with third-party subcontractors, technology partners as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience in a client-facing Project Management role, ideally within the Digital Marketing Cloud space required
- Experience with overseeing complex environments – experience with AWS is preferred
- Ability to manage teams, to understand technical requirements and to communicate daily with customers
- Proven ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and, to articulate high-level technical solutions to address business problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, resolve them quickly and know when to rely on internal resources to assist
- An innovative thinker, and collaborative business partner, who is well-organized and detailed with strong presentation and reporting skills is recommended
- Professional demeanor, ability to interact with and lead diverse teams and communicate with client representatives from individual contributors to senior leadership
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills as well as strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of custom software development processes and engagement methodologies
- Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships and confidence with client stakeholders
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience as a client facing resource within agency or professional services companies
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience running concurrent development and maintenance efforts on a production transactional site
- Experience managing Agile development projects
- Prior experience with Adobe Digital Marketing, Sitecore, Drupal and other platforms is preferred
- Proven experience managing off-shore teams
- Certified ScrumMaster, PMP Certification is a plus
